The Royal Scottish National Orchestra, conducted by Stephane Deneve, will perform Igor Stravinsky’s Rite Of Spring, one of the most popular pieces of classical music.
When it was first per formed as a ballet in Paris in 1913, the audience was so shocked that the event turned into a riot.
Tomorrow’s concert will hopefully be more peaceful and presenter/animateur Paul Rissman will talk the audience through the music in the first half, with lighting effects, interviews and musical extracts.
